2nd Annual Advocates Pickleball Tournament

We are thrilled to announce our second-annual pickleball tournament. Last year’s event was so much fun and we learned a lot, so we are planning on this year’s being even better.

How Will the Tournament Work?

Pickleball is a tennis-like sport that has taken the US by storm over the last several years and has quickly become a favorite for people of all ages. It is relatively easy to learn for beginners but can be fast-paced and competitive when all players are skilled.

This tournament will be doubles only—if you do not have a partner, you will be paired with another participant. When you register, you will be asked to assess your own skill level so that we can match you with a partner and opponents of similar ability. You can use this guide and the reference table below to get an idea of your level.

1.0-2.5: Beginner

3.0-4.5: Intermediate

5.0 and above: Advanced

This event will be family-friendly—there will be bubbles and a face painter for children and a playground next to the courts. Finger foods and beverages will be provided for free. Additional snacks are available for purchase at the snack bar.

There will be prizes for the top three teams:

 1st place: $250

2nd place: $100

3rd place: $50
