Two Utah firefighters are receiving tons of praise for helping a “very scared” young girl remain calm at the scene of an accident. The young child and her mother were in a car crash Saturday night in Clearfield, Utah.
The Utah firefighters from North Davis Fire District of West Point responded to a motor vehicle accident which the young girl was involved in. Shift Battalion Chief Hadley and Captain Kevin Lloyd sat down with the little girl, who was crying and screaming when they arrived, while medical personnel tended to her mother.
The men were thinking quickly on their feet when they saw the little girl clutching a few nail polish bottles in her hands. In a successful attempt to help calm the girl down, the firefighters let the girl paint their nails and left with a fresh new manicure.
“This is how amazing our firefighters are,” North Davis Fire District said in a Facebook post. Within minutes, the girl was calmed down.
A special thanks to the two Utah firefighters for providing excellent customer service to a young citizen in Clearfield.
The accident is still being investigated. The names of the mother and daughter have not yet been released.
Police reported no serious injuries from the crash.
